Hm. I haven't written here for a while. That's due to lack of things to say. Or maybe I have to much to say, and I don't want to write one thing and not the other. It's a sunday, I got to sleep in today, as opposed to the rest of the week waking up at 6 to row.

Cause I don't think that they'd understand.

I went to the Duxbury Youth Rock Revival last night! It was sweet. I brought Krista along, and Tommy was kind of weird. I mostly hung out with Katie, because I didn't want to follow Will and Tommy around the /entire/ time. So I only did a little. =P I heard GNP play, and Wonderful Spells played, along with Sons of Blues. Louie's band was really good- like, really good. Bo is hot but the lead had a funny walk. Oh well, his voice was amazing. And what else...I dunno, Will was cute. Hm. I have nothing else to say except it was fun. And John was there. Oh yeah, and after both Mr. Horton and Mr. Jannetty sang, they called up Joe Perry to play in the last song. That was chill.

I just want you to know who I am.

So I dunno. I talked to Tommy today, and he was in his good phase..if it makes sense to call it that. I also went shopping and bought a cute sweater and cool flipflops...the guy that opened the fitting room for me was absolutely adorable, with light blue eyes and freckles and all...though, he was about my height. But he waved at me when he left after his shift ended! AW.

And now I'm listening to The Bucket by KOL. Look at the shakies, what's with the blush? Fresh off the plane in my fuzzy rush. etc etc...

Summer doesn't officially start until tomorrow, but I've been done since yesterday- the day of my last exam.

I've got some time to kill, so here goes:

I woke up Monday morning, took the bus to school(lame train, loser cruiser-I'm not taking it next year! Thank god) My first(and only..and LAST) exam was math, and I bombed. Oh well. There should be a huge scale.

Me and Manda then walked to French Memories for something to eat. But first we had to clean out her gym locker. There was a class there, all sitting quietly on the bleachers as the announcements were read. When it was announced that both Tommy AND Will had won prez/vp, we squealed a little...and the class(which was made up of freshmen and sophomores who don't matter)heard haha. Oh well.

So it was a gorgeous day out as me and mandy ate our food. I got a croissant with chocolate in it- it was amazing. We talked about boys, and school, and stuff like that, but also about our 10 year reunion. What will everybody be doing? We decided that Manda was a librarian. I told her I wanted to work in Disney World when I was little, and that it still didn't seem half bad. After we finished we went to the dock by DBMS and stuck our feet in the water. It really felt like summer.

The rest of the day I spent at the beach, where Katie and I ran into Coop and Alana. That was...interesting. Katie kept wanting to go and sit with boys and flirt with them or whatever, and Alana wasn't really into hanging out with us. I didn't mind though- the water was /really/ nice at low tide. Plus, I got a little color..and an ice cream from farfar's, thanks to Mrs. Cooper.

So then I showered, and liv and I decided to go see The Lake House. Katie came too =P It was a weird movie, I mean the ending was satisfactory, but some middle parts were either too slow or not needed at all. Whatever. Katie got the aviators I wanted, and the raconteurs cd. I hope you're sending that to me soon!

So all in all, I think that was my first day of summer. And it rocked.

Today must have been one of the longest days of my life..at least one of the longest in a while. It just went on for EVER, it felt like. And it's only wednesday.

I think the spanish switching with gym started it off, especially since it was an extended block. And the weather. I feel like I'm in one of those snowglobes, with rain replacing the plastic flakes. I feel like there's sunshine directly outside of this place, and I can't find it, ahhh! The sky is so blank and white, it looks as if someone came and took it away.

hm. I don't think I have anymore thoughts for the day. School needs to end, summer needs to begin...but I feel like I'm stuck in time.

The rest of the weekend:

Saturday - I kind of forgot how my morning was, I think I felt as if I wasted most of the day? Oh I watched While You Were Sleeping on tv, and it was funnier than I remember. I didn't start moving until later in the afternoon. I called up Katie and we went to the mall. It was really deserted and we wanted to hang out with guys. Oh well- that came later.
Anyways I bought mascara and katie got gum. We saw Nikki with Nicole Gamel, and then Amanda with Liza. We walked down to the end of the mall with them before leaving, as the mall closed as we were leaving. Manda's pretty chill, I love her. I came home and my mom and krista were watching Everything is Illuminated, the movie I'd been dying to see for months. I made them start it over and it was good.

Sunday - I went to Ricky's in the morning to work on our history project, although we pretty much got nothing accomplished at all. It was weird cause we didn't really talk much or anything. We went to blockbuster and got the movie, that's about it. He then drove me home. So the exciting part starts here. Me and my mom brought Krista to the Braintree Plaza to look for a semi dress when Katie texted me saying I could sleep over. Well we went shopping and I was kind of yearning for cute clothes, but I kind of struggled shopping this weekend. Anyways, my mom said I could stay over, but katie's family wasn't home, so we had her over here to eat dinner with us (we barbequed) We sat around and poked at krista for a while, and then John Kearney called me and asked if I wanted to go to the beach. Obviously me and katie wanted to go, so it took a while for me to convince my parents, but we eventually got there. It was CHILL. I was kind of antisocial, but I figure no one really cared. On the majority I talked to miles and taylor, but I spoke with will and brian for a bit and overall had a good time. The sophomores were kind of annoying, but whatever. Grant Bowen drove us home in his jeep and I was tweeking out cause I thought he was speeding. Turns out he was only going 30...hey well it was open. So he actually drove us to katie's house cause I slept over.

Monday - Katie and I wake up. I had a really weird dream..like really weird, but I can't remember it. We got ready for the parade and made huge chocolate chip pancakes, I ate the whole thing. So we walked to the cemetary and did the parade thing, the hanging out with soda and hot dogs and all. Um yeah it was really hot...but so was John Jannetty. Geeze those cadences were awesome. Yeah anyways so I went back to Katie's to get my stuff and her mom drove me home. I took a nice long shower and tried to watch Thirteen Days. It was SO long. I was paying really close attention for about 1hr45min, but by that point I had to pause it and look at prom magazines(yeah even after the fact, I know) I finished the movie and had baby back ribs that my dad barbequed. And now I'm here.

It was an awesome weekend. Ah I don't want to go to school, I want it over. I can friggin taste summer, and it'll be sweet, I know it. So I'll probably watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest later...the Elliott Smith cd is awesome Katie, thanks.

Ah well since katie updated I might as well put my version up of this AMAZING weekend.

It started with friday. While most were in school, I was enjoying myself with band people(and we all know how chill music people are..)at SIX FLAGS. It was only my second time. I woke up and got to school early so we could get to Granby High on time. The bus ride was alright, although it was early. I sat next to ricky for a good amount of time while katie slept, yes SLEPT...so why would I bother going back to wake her up? Haha amy and natalie were fun, too.

We played at the high school, which was weird because their auditorium felt like a dank church..it was freaky. But haha I think katie, tommy, and I were all pretty intrigued by one of the judges sitting by us making hand gestures and whispering into a recorder. yeah ANYWAYS...we left after con orch played and con choir sang (Ricky was kind of cocky, acting all know-it-all like he does) and made our way to 6 flags.

Um well me and katie kind of lost sight of everyone so we went to get food first, and we ordered two slices of pizza and fries...but the slices were HUGE so we only ate half, and then we felt bad for wasting food. So we tried to call people to come and eat it for us but nobody was answering. So yeah we met up with Ricky and Mike afterwards and went to wait in line for Superman(I was nervous) We made it up to the last section of the line and they closed the ride on us due to rain/thunder. We waited for about ten minutes before deciding to ditch, and we went to sit inside waiting for the rain to subside. It didn't.

We were inside for about 2 hours and I was having the suckiest time because there was talk of going home and I hadn't done anything but struggle to finish a pizza. So I was getting ansy and we all decided to just wander about in the rain, which was actually fun although we got soaked. Going outside was also a plus cause we were some of the first in line for SUPERMAN! This is still me,katie,ricky,mike, at this point, although we sat inside with molly and kip too. So I sat next to ricky on superman and since it was raining, I couldn't really open my eyes and I didn't enjoy it all that much. But whatever. We journeyed on to Batman and other rides.

So wrapping up Friday- there was a dance party with Bugs Bunny and an annoying announcer woman. We went on Superman again and I liked it alot better the second time, although we got stuck on the way up because some idiot decided he wanted a picture and brought a camera on. But nobody told us this after we were up there for a good few minutes, and I was freaking out.

Tommy was being really weird. He was sitting/flirting with Slechta on the ride up, and he said he was ssooo against going on Superman but he ended up going on it like 3 times. And when me and katie met up with him during the day he was acting crazy (I believe jumping into trees qualifies, no?) And so he told katie she could borrow his jacket when we got on the bus but he ended up giving it to me, and kept giving me his iPod to listen to and even made a playlist for me after I woke up...yeah I dunno.

So that was FRIDAY. aha, I guess I'll put the rest of the weekend in another entry.

I feel like my brain's a mess right now. I finished AP exams on monday and so I should be stress-free, right? Ugh I dunno. It's my friday off and I'm going to some link crew training day at school from 12 to 2, then I have rowing from 3-5 and I want to go to the mall or hang out...I need to get together with ricky to start working on our history project, I don't know when that's going to happen.

PROM IS NEXT WEEKEND.

If you didn't know that...I need earrings and some kind of bag/clutch aaand a boutonierre for Will and probably other things that I forgot about.

So school's kind of over but not really, and I guess that's what's throwing me off. I'm kind of looking forward to the end of the rowing season because then my weekends will be more open to what I want to do. As opposed to meets every sunday...

oh and it's mother's day this weekend too, shit I need a gift.

yeah lots of stuff. I just want summer. and friends. I need to hang out more.

I should be practicing or doing homework right now as my going to rowing necessitates good time management...and yet where am I? Here.

Actually I don't have anything good to say, I thought I did, so maybe I'll be back later. I have so many things I need to do in the upcoming weeks. School should be a priority, I should try to keep my grades high 4th term, and AP exams/SAT IIs are quickly sneaking up on me. Then there's prom- I still need a dress, and when do I have time to go shopping? This weekend I guess, but I want to be able to just hang out sometime. I talked to Tim today about afterparties, and how I'm gonna be the good and careful girl that I am...

I need to practice more for WE next year, and start getting in shape- that too. Crew does nothing but keep me cold. I'm just trying to make it through the spring really, hopefully everything will calm down for a bit towards the end of the year. Oh yeah, but then there's summer and I need a job and I need to start driving to get my liscence and I'm going to camp in Maine and my relatives are planning a huge family reunion on my BIRTHDAY. As of now, I'm hoping to get out of it.

I like who I am. It's taken a few years, yes, but I feel I can genuinely say that I like who I am. For Sylvia's class we had do do a presentation on ourselves, including some things we would change about ourselves if we could. I couldn't think of one trait about myself I would like to say goodbye to. Sure, I have bad qualities, but I wouldn't want to change them; I feel like it just wouldn't be me. And besides, we're meant to have flaws. I had more to say on this, I don't know where I'm going...

Well about my opinion of others, Tommy told me today that I care so much about what other people have to say about me. So I was thinking(of course)..it's more that I have /no/ idea of what people think of me, and I'm curious to know what I come off as to people. If they have something to say about me I don't think I'd mind. I mean I'd like to know, but I wouldn't change myself because of it, just to please them.

I am comfortable with myself. I don't have an amazing body, but I'm not hideous or misfigured, so it's alright. And, what I see as a big accomplishment- I've accepted my hair, embraced it, and now feel that it's a big part (both literally and figuratively =P) of who I am. Yay for me, I've done it.

Last note - it's like...that inner calm or peace everyone keeps talking about. I feel like I'm in control of myself and have my thoughts figured out and in order, even for a little while. And I'm telling you, it's a good feeling.

My mom woke me up at around 11 today. (score for sleeping late) My dad and my uncle were finishing the kitchen tiles, I decided they look alright afterall. I went to my first art class in Cohasset at 1. There were only 3 other girls there, Colleen, Nicole, and Arielle. Arielle has a friend named Azalea. I was wondering at the time what kind of parents she had...anyways, they're all seniors. Colleen's ridiculously quiet for how pretty she is, so I talked to Nicole alot. She's pretty cool. She wants to be an art major in college and then plans on becoming an art teacher. Our first assignment was to do a sorta clay landscape with foreground, middlegroud, and background. I dunno, it's kinda hard to explain I guess, but it's a cool project. Besides, we got to make a mess out of the place. What could be better?
My mom picked me up at 4ish and we went to get chinese for dinner, since my dad and sis were in Boston visiting relatives (I didn't hafta go because I had class) I came home, ate, practiced my flute, and studied for bio for a good 2 hours. Too bad I still don't know anything...yeah that's it.

I'm listening to Modest Mouse right now, they're pretty sick, despite what you might think. (see the title...) Umm, I tried to burn a cd earlier and my computer fucked up so now I have a cd with 1 1/2 songs on it, yeah that's a good use of resources, I know. Hm it's saturday, I did all my homework yesterday, and yet I still feel stressed? prolly cause I still need to study for my first AP BIO EXAM on monday, yeah. That'll be some good times.

So yes, I'm still brand new at this journal thing. Gimme a friggin break :P It was pretty much a slow day, with hardly any review for midterms (which are next week). I was kinda pissy in math, sorry Katie! Actually you're probably sitting there reading this, thinking, 'wtf?' hahaha yesss. Well I did get stuff on my new pants...hehe.
And it's friday, I really wanna see a movie tonight or something but I probably won't end up doing so. Oh well. Relaxing's always good ;) And Phantom of the Opera isn't in Independence anyways. Haha, yes, I DO wanna see that movie. I might go with Julianna..? Well I dunno, we were talking about it in gym. ANYWAYS...did you have fun reading this? I've got nothing else to say.
